  • How can we avoid crowds for the photoshoot?
    start early. Please inquire for the earliest session time (For kimono the earliest session time is 10:30am). book me. I know some secret spots with less people. even in a crowded place, I can make the photos come out without people.
  • What time in the day is best for the photoshoot?
    In the winter season, the best lighting comes in from 8:00-11:30 am and 12:30-4:00 pm. In the summer season, the best lighting comes in from 7:00-10:30 am and 2:30-6:00 pm.
  • What is the payment method for the remaining payment?
    Please pay cash for the remaining payment.
  • What is the difference between 1h and 2h session?
    The difference is that we cover more locations and more shots from different angles for 2h session.
  • Do you do customised session such as birthday celebration or proposal photography ?
    Yes we do, please inquire and we can do the planning together.
  • Do you offer props?
    Yes, I offer a range of props including Japanese-style fans, paper umbrella, fox mask and soldier knife etc.
  • How many locations can we cover in 2h photoshoot?
    1-2 locations. Please inquire for more information.
  • What happens if it rains?
    If it rains we can either 1. Shoot in Japanese paper umbrella if the rain isn’t too hard. 2. Reschedule to another available day
  • What is the earliest time we can start our photoshoot if I want to wear kimonos?
    We can start from 10:30 am at the earliest as the kimono rentals open from 9 am.
  • Can I do both Kimono shoot and casual clothes shoot?
    Yes you can, but only in the 2-hour session or two of the 1 hour session booking. It is pretty time costing, it will take up 30min of the photoshoot time to get change.
  • How long does it take to dress kimono?
    Choosing a kimono, dressing, hairstyle setting, and makeup takes around 90 minutes.
  • How much are the kimonos?
    Kimono price costs an average of 4000JPY for men, 5000-10,000JPY for ladies 3000JPY for kids. The price differs according to the kimono you choose.
  • Are there large-size kimonos for men and women?
    Yes for upto 3L (190cm / 100kg)
  • What is the payment method of kimono?
    It's by cash only
  • Are there kimonos for babies?
    Yes
  • Do Kimono rentals provide hair set and makeup? How much are they?
    The hair set is 1,500JPY and full makeup is 4,000JPY
  • How far away is the kimono store from the photoshoot spot?
    The closest spot is 3min away by walk
